The last time these two teams met was on November 30, 2013, in Teaneck, NJ, where the Devils narrowly defeated the Dolphins 76-70 in overtime to hand CSI their second loss of the season. The Dolphins lead 13-8 all-time against the Devils and have won the last four of five meetings. FDU-Florham consistently plays Staten Island well as the last five meetings have been determined by six points or less.
After a season where they went 13-13 the Devils are struggling to find wins this season as they sit at 1-11 overall and have lost 9 straight. Kevin Furlong leads his team with 14.3 points per game while Donte Ali protects the boards and secures 8.3 points per game. The Devils are coming off of a loss against The College of New Jersey 56-77 and will look to get back on the winning path tonight.
The Dolphins are also coming off of a loss which came against CUNYAC opponents Lehman College, 73-95. CSI lost the battle on the boards as they were out-rebounded 40-26 which led to 20 second chance points. CSI boasts a 5-4 home record against the Devils and will want to protect their court from FDU. Thomas Delahanty has really stepped up in a big way for the Dolphins as he has poured in 44 points and grabbed 15 rebounds over the last three games and CSI will hope he continue his dominating performance.
