The College of Staten Island men’s basketball team is in action tonight against bitter CUNYAC rivals York College in their second clash of the season.  The Dolphins ran away with their first meeting this season with a 72-59 win in which several players scored in double digits.  CSI improved their all-time record against York to 59-23 with the win and will look to keep that trend going for their 26-10 away record.

CSI recently had their seven game win streak come to a close against Brooklyn College but were able to quickly bounce back against City College of NY, 83-70.  Will Fonseca scored a career high 39 points and secured his 20th double-double of the season.  Frank Schettino also played an integral role in that game scoring 23 points and dishing out 11 assists in the game.

York College will look to get revenge against the Dolphins for beating them earlier in the year however the Dolphins have been playing exceptionally well lately and will be tough to beat.  Jaron Williams will look to have his way with the Dolphins as he is averaging 13 points per game while protecting the boards with 10 rebounds a game.  The Cardinals have only beaten the Dolphins once in eight outings and will look to get their second one tonight.
