We are delighted to invite you to this semester’s Dean’s Symposium series, sponsored by the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences. As the online flier describes, this series will feature a wide range of topics and experts from across the disciplines.
The first lecture of the semester will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Recital Hall. The panel is titled, “Talking the Talk: Studies of Human Language.” It will feature research presentations by Professors Jason Bishop and Christina Tortora of the English Department, and Peri Ozlem Yuksel-Sokmen, a Doctoral candidate in Psychology. Please join us for what will undoubtedly be a fruitful and thought-provoking event.
A reception will follow the symposium. We look forward to seeing you there.
