The College of Staten Island men’s and women’s basketball teams are in action tonight when they travel to Brooklyn, NY to take on CUNYAC opponents Medgar Evers College at 6 pm and 8 pm

The women have had much success against the Cougars over the years and have won the last 16 meetings and will look to make it 17 in a row. Christina Pasaturo and Victoria Crea have been on fire as of late and will look to use that fire to surpass the Cougars for their 11th CUNYAC win of the season.

The men have also dominated Medgar as of late, winning the last eight games.  The Dolphins are led by Will Fonseca and Frank Schettino who both lead the nation in their respective categories (Fonseca in double doubles and Schettino in assists per game).

Both of Medgar’s basketball teams have struggled this year with the men going 3-19 while the women have gone 1-21.  The Cougars will try and turn their luck around tonight with hopes of being able to make it into the CUNYAC postseason tournament.
