The College of Staten Island men’s soccer team is looking to get into the win column this season, and will look to get there against Rowan University tonight under the lights in Glassboro, NJ. CSI dropped a weekend set at the Drew University Fall Festival and are picking up action after a two-day layoff.

Players To Watch (CSI): Philip Lefkowitz has been the most dynamic offensive weapon so far for CSI, scoring a goal and an assist to start the 2015 season. Nicholas Bacarella is knocking on the door for a goal this season. He shares the team lead in shots with 9 so far.
Players To Watch (RU): Shane Doherty is leading the way for Rowan with a pair of goals and 12 shots to lead the team so far through three games. Sophomore Travis Ward scored two late first-half goals last year against CSI.
News and Notes: This is only the second meeting in history between the two schools. The teams met in Glassboro last year and RU scored two late first-half goals to seize momentum. Nermin Kurtesi was CSI’s goal scorer in that game. Rowan out-shot CSI, 18-9 (6-4 on goal). Rowan is coming off of a 3-2 win over Clarkson University on Sunday to get back over .500; however, they have been outscored this season, 7-5.
