The College of Staten Island women’s tennis team is undefeated this season through four matches, and the team will look to keep the streak intact today, when they host Farmingdale State College at the CSI Tennis Center for a 4:30pm, non-conference, tilt.  The Rams are also red-hot to start the season, having won four of its first five matches.

Players To Watch (CSI): Sabrina Bragerton-Nasert continues to shine, and is undefeated (4-0) in singles and doubles this season.  Freshman Samantha Mazier scored a big win against Brooklyn on Monday and will look to keep the momentum going.
Players To Watch (FSC):  Michelle Fredericks, Madison Schrader, and Carolann LaMonica are all 4-1 in singles and doubles play this season, and they make Farmingdale State very strong at the bottom of the order.
News and Notes: The last time these two teams met was back in 2013 and CSi took an early-season, 5-4, win.  CSI won four out of six singles flights to win the match after falling behind, 2-1.  CSI’s best season start was 6-0 in 2013 and they will look to take a step closer to that mark today.  Like CSI, Farmingdale also took a 6-3 win over Brooklyn in their last match.  Today is only their second road contest of the season.
