Players To Watch (CSI): Danielle Alexandrini net two goals in the 4-1 win CSI had over the Beavers earlier in the year at Randall’s Island. Fellow senior Samantha Wysokowski also posted a goal, as did Lauren Smith. Look for them to want to have similar success again here this afternoon.
Players To Watch (CCNY): Marissa Olsen has been CCNY’s most prolific player this season. She leads the squad in goals and has also done plenty of goalkeeping. In the early season meeting, she scored CCNY’s only goal after playing the first half in goal where she had 9 saves.
News and Notes: The CSI will honor six seniors prior to kick-off. They are Kristy Colangelo, Danielle Smith, Kathryn Dowling, Krysta Percaccio, Danielle Alexandrini, and Samantha Wysokowski. The six have combined for 34 goals and 15 assists this year, along with playing every second in goal this season. CSI has won five straight over CCNY dating back to 2012, and have never lost a game to the Beavers at the CSI Soccer Complex (13-0-1).
