After a tough loss to hosts Kean University last night, the College of Staten Island women’s basketball squad will be back in action this afternoon, taking on Eastern University in the Consolation leg of the Kean University Classic in Union, NJ. The Dolphins are now on a two-game slide and will be looking to turn things around this afternoon.

Players To Watch (CSI): For the third straight game, the Dolphins had a different high scorer, and that honor belonged to Samantha Flecker, who tallied a career high 20 points against Kean last night. Christina Pasaturo has been steady as well, averaging over 17 points per game through the first three this season.
Players To Watch (EU): Reggie Robinson is leading the way for the Eagles with 18.3 points per game. Perhaps even bigger is Emily Lavin, who is averaging 17 points and a heavy 14.3 rebounds per game. Look for that duo to pave the way for Eastern this afternoon.
News and Notes: Eastern fell last night to UT-Dallas, 67-62. It was their first loss of the season. CSi fell to Kean, 95-78. The game was broken open in the third quarter, after CSI led by as many as four in the first half and was down only one at intermission.
