The College of Staten Island baseball squad will play their second home double header in a row today against Yeshiva University at 12:00 pm. The Dolphins are coming off of a pair of losses to St. Joseph’s College – Brooklyn which snapped their four game win streak. Staten Island will look to bounce back against Yeshiva University today.

Players To Watch (CSI): Nick Delprete has gotten off to a great start this season batting .368 while crossing the plate three times and collecting two RBIs. Delprete has 11 putouts playing second base and a .526 slugging percentage. Glenn Glennerster is second on the team with four RBIs and leads the Dolphins in stolen bases with three.
Players to Watch (YU): Shmuli Goldis leads the Maccabees with a .400 batting average and also leads Yeshiva in doubles. On the mound Ari Schanzer leads the way with three strikeouts through four innings pitched. The Maccabees will look for Schanzer and Goldis to lead Yeshiva to their first win of the season.
News and Notes: The Dolphins are currently on a two game slide, losing both ends of their doubleheader yesterday against SJC-Brooklyn. The Dolphins have never lost to Yeshiva, winning all 14 games of the series right here at the CSI Baseball Complex. If the Dolphins were to win both today they would begin the season at 7-3, one of their best starts after 10 games since going 8-2 in 2002.
