The Writing Program and the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Program at CSI are pleased to announce that submissions are now being accepted for the annual Inkwell essay contest. We are looking for the three best essays written for a first-year writing class (English 111 or 151) and the three best essays from any course across the curriculum. Students in all disciplines are invited to apply.
The deadline for the spring semester is Friday, May 27. Winners will be announced in June.
We encourage faculty to help students choose which paper to submit. The six winning essays will be published in our campus anthology Inkwell.
Students should submit three clean copies of their papers to the English Department (Building 2S, Room 218) along with this cover sheet, which is available online.
