The aim of the Mini-Grant Program is to support technology that has a direct impact on student learning or to support research. Faculty in all disciplines may apply for grants in support of:

  • Instruction and Learning: Supports and enhances teacher instruction and student learning with the focus to improve learning through the use of technology–specifically tied to a course(s). Up to $2,400 will be awarded.
  • Collaborative Research: Support for student-faculty collaborative research using technology (not tied specifically to a course). Up to $2,000 will be awarded.

Application requirements:

  1. 1.      Abstract
  2. 2.      Project Description
  3. 3.      Project Budget
  4. 4.      Curriculum Vitae from the faculty member; résumé and an unofficial academic transcript from student participants
  5. 5.      IRB approval for research grants (can be pending)

Deadline for submission of 2016-2017 proposals: September 16, 2016 by 4:00pm. Late proposals will not be considered.
