Players to Watch (CSI):   Jennifer Cosenza is coming off a one goal performance in a 2-1 loss to FDU-Florham and will look to add to her tally this afternoon. Cosenza paces the Dolphins with seven goals on the year and has scored at least one goal against the Cougars in the previous two seasons.  Krystina Rodriguez will look to return to form today as she has been held without a point for two straight games after recording a point for five straight games.
Players to Watch (MEC): Sciancia Metelus has the lone goal for the Cougars this season and also accounts for all of the team’s seven shots. Medgar has used six different goalies this season with Marlene Thompson starting two of them.  In her two starts she has allowed 14 goals and made 9 saves.
News and Notes:  Medgar has struggled finding the goal this season as they have scored just one goal through six game while allowing 56.  The last time the Cougars women’s soccer team won a game was back in the 2010 season where they beat CSI in the CUNYAC Final 3-1.  In that championship season they finished 12-7-1 and have gone 0-63 since then.  Also during their 63-game losing skid, the Cougars have only scored four goals during that time. The Cougars take an average of one shot per game while opponents average 24. CSI has outscored their opponents 17-2 when playing at the CSI Soccer Complex this season and will continue that trend this afternoon against the Cougars.
