The College of Staten Island women’s cross country team was in action this afternoon in Newark, NJ for the NJIT Highlander Challenge. The Dolphins placed 13th out of 17 teams with 387 points.
Leading the pack once again for the Dolphins was Tristiana Adragna. Adragna ran her best time of the season with a time of 22:12, putting her in 48th place out of 141 racers. Coming in two minutes after Adragna was Veronica Lorenzo with a time of 24:30 placing her 81st.
Rounding out the top three for the Dolphins was Jessica Lin with a time of 27:54 good for 107th. Filling out the rest of the roster was Victoria Debernardo (28:45), Stephanie DaSilva (31:09), and Moet Askew (34:03).
The Dolphins will be back in action for their final regular season meet before the CUNYAC Championships on Saturday, October 14 at 12:00 for the St. Joseph’s – LI Invitational.
