The College of Staten Island men’s soccer team will return home for the first time in four straight games to take on undefeated Lehman College at the CSI Soccer Complex at 12:00 pm.

CSI vs LEHMAN COLLEGE
Matchup:  CSI (9-4-1, 4-2 CUNYAC)  vs. Lehman (9-3-1, 6-0 CUNYAC)
Where: CSI Soccer Complex, 2800 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10314
All-Time Series: CSI leads 13-11-1
Last Meeting: October 29, 2016 – CSI lost 1-0 (CUNYAC Semifinals)
Players to Watch (CSI): Bryant Navarro found his way back in the scoring column two days ago with a CUNYAC goal over Hunter College, lifting his total on the year to six.  Joel Morales and Dardan Nika have supplied three assists each this season and they will need to find a crack in this undefeated Lehman team this afternoon. Ryan Layman in the back will need to keep his fellow defenders disciplined if they hope to stop this high powered Lightning offense.
Players to Watch (LC): Leading the Lighting, and the CUNYAC in goals is Salh Alzubidi with 13 on the year. Alzubidi has found open spaces in opposing defenses this season and has exploited them which has his team sitting atop the CUNYAC standings with an unblemished record.  Omar Moro leads the Lightning with four assists on the year and will try to add to his total during today’s game. Chris Mulholland has played in 13 games this season and has allowed just 9 goals, good for less than a goal a game allowed.
News & Notes: This series has been a tight one throughout the years with the Dolphins holding a slight edge with 13 wins.  The Lightning, however, has had the Dolphins’ number as they have won three of the last five meetings one of which came in last year’s CUNYAC Semifinal.  Over this series, the Dolphins have posted a 6-4-1 record against the Lightning at home and they will look to improve upon that mark this afternoon.  The men have been away from their home field since September 25.
