Players to Watch (CSI): Christian Dumadag continues to make a splash for the Dolphins. He put his talents on display in their last outing against Brooklyn where he tallied a match-high 13 kills on 38 attacks. Adil El Haddad has lifted Dumadag’s skill set by putting the ball right at the net, allowing Dumadag to get a clear shot at opposing defenses. James Yi tallied two block assists in that contest, which paced the team and he will look to be a headache at the net once more for the Bulldog’s attackers.
Players to Watch (BC):  Vaughn Titus had an outstanding match in the last meeting, tallying 13 kills on 26 attacks with just one error for a .462 hitting percentage. Ahmed Moawad collected 11 kills in that same match with a .280 hitting percentage. Sayuj Zachariah and Michael Valentin split duties as a setter and tallied 16 and 12 assists, respectively. In the back line, Snigdho Hasan tallied 10 digs in the last meeting.
News & Notes: The Brooklyn Bulldogs have won the last four meetings against the Dolphins, dating back to March 10, 2016. The lone win for the Dolphins came on February 15, 2016, a five-set match that saw Staten Island win, 3-2. Since that win, the Dolphins have taken just one set from the Bulldogs despite the sets being very close in score. When these teams normally meet, it’s usually for the CUNYAC standings, however, tonight’s match will be a non-conference bout.
