Where: Kean University – 1000 Morris Ave, Union, NJ

Players to Watch (CSI): Natalia Sandor and Lauren Smith will look to make an impact from the wing against the Ospreys. Smith was second on the team with three shots yesterday and led the team in shots last year. Rebecca D’Aloia will be another player to watch as she can create from the back and will make overlapping runs to confuse the defenders. Samantha LaValle was CSI’s lone scorer yesterday and look for her to create at the top.  She also led the way with five total shots.
Players to Watch (SU): Salena LeDonne was the second leading scorer on the team last season and will now be looked upon to lead the Ospreys in scoring this season with the departure of Mairead McKeary. Emily Frazee will control the midfield and find the cracks in the defense to slot passes through to her forwards. Nicole Pallante will stand between the pipes and pick up where she left off last season where she allowed under one goal per game.
News & Notes: These teams have met twice with the Ospreys holding a one-game advantage over the Dolphins. In their first meeting in 2016, the Dolphins and Ospreys tied 0-0 at the CSI Soccer Complex.  Last season, Stockton was able to best the Dolphins, 3-0, on their home field. Opposing teams rifled off 11 shots per game against Stockton last season while the Ospreys generated 9 shots of their own. The Dolphins, on the other hand, were more active in their opponents final third, tallying 17 shots per game a  season ago. Both teams enter Day 2 of the Cougar Classic at Kean having dropped their first games.  CSI fell to host Kean, 5-1, while Stockton fell to the University of Scranton, 4-0.
