The Writing Program and the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) Program at CSI are pleased to announce the next Inkwell essay contest. We are looking for the three best essays written for a first-year writing class (English 111 or 151) and the three best essays from any course across the curriculum. Students in all disciplines are invited to apply.
There are two deadlines: one for essays submitted during the fall semester (Wednesday, Dec. 19) and one for essays submitted during the spring semester (Tuesday, May 21). Winners will be announced in September.
We encourage faculty to help students choose which paper to submit. The six winning essays will be published in our campus anthology Inkwell.
Students should submit three clean copies of their papers to the English Dpartment (Building 2S, Room 218) along with the online cover sheet.
