The College of Staten Island men’s basketball team hits the road tonight and puts their 10-game win streak on the line against John Jay. The Dolphins seek revenge in this meeting as the Bloodhounds were the ones to hand CSI their lone CUNYAC loss.

Players to Watch (CSI): In their last meeting against the Bloodhounds, Christian Taylor poured in a season-high 32 points in the loss on 58% shooting from the floor. Adeola Latunji added 14 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, two of which were on the offensive glass. The Dolphins showed off their bench depth in their last outing, however, as the bench added 42 points in the win over CCNY.  Austin Mick led the way with 13 points and was aided by Nick Taylor’s dynamic play on the ball. Chamald Martin has also been thrust into the starting lineup since the last time these teams squared off and has given the Dolphins a dynamic inside presence.  
Players to Watch (JJC): Doug Levy hammered the Dolphins for 31 points in the last meeting on 13-of-16 shooting. Levy also grabbed 16 rebounds which limited the Dolphins’ second chance opportunities. Jerome Petty was efficient from range, going 3-for-4 and scoring 12 points. Essien Epps controlled the court for the Bloodhounds and dished out six assists with just two turnovers while also adding 12 points. 
News & Notes: The Bloodhounds caught the Dolphins early in the season before they were able to find their form. This time around, the Dolphins are on a 10-game win streak and are firing on all cylinders. When playing away from home the Dolphins are 6-4, however, the Bloodhounds have not fared well at home, posting a record of just 4-5. John Jay comes in averaging 70 points per game while the Dolphins averaging 80 points per game while beating their opponents by an average of five points.
