Tonight, the Dolphins will look to avenge their championship loss in Brooklyn.

CSI VS. BROOKLYN COLLEGE AT-A-GLANCE
Matchup: CSI (10-4, 4-1 CUNYAC) vs. Brooklyn (6-5, 3-0 CUNYAC)
Where: West Quad Center – 2900 Bedford Ave., Brooklyn, NY
All-Time Series: Staten Island leads 37-20
Last Meeting: February 23, 2018 – Brooklyn won 59-50
Players to Watch (CSI): The Dolphins are coming off of their first CUNYAC loss of the season despite outrebounding Hunter, 50-31. Rosa Perone was effective early in the game, shooting 7-of-13 from the floor before Hunter made defensive adjustments. Perone will look to return to that early form and dominate Brooklyn College inside the paint. Megan McEwan struggled from the floor in her last outing but still led the Dolphins with 17 points. McEwan will need to find her stroke from the floor to create space for her teammates inside to exploit Brooklyn’s defense. Diana Todaro continues to pace the Dolphins on the boards after grabbing a team-high 13 against Hunter. Todaro will need to limit Brooklyn’s second-chance opportunities tonight.
Players to Watch (BC): Chanel Jemmott leads the Bulldogs with 13.7 points and also leads with 8.7 rebounds per game. Jemmott is coming off of an 18 point 12 rebound win over Lehman College. Of Jemmott’s 12 rebounds, 6 were offensive, giving her team second-chance opportunities. Alexandra Moogan is coming off of her highest scoring output of the season after dropping 25 points against the Lightning. Moogan is the 3-point specialist for the Bulldogs and will shoot whenever she has an open look from behind the arc. Moogan is also shooting a team-high 39% from range which helps to stretch opposing defense’s out. Taylor George is another threat from 3-point land and is also dishing out 2.2 assists per game.
News & Notes: This heated rivalry has flip-flopped over the last six meetings which also resulted in each team winning a CUNYAC Championship. Although this series has favored Brooklyn in recent years Staten Island has been the better team throughout history. When playing at Brooklyn College the Dolphins are 17-10. This season, the Dolphins are 5-2 on the road while the Bulldogs are just 3-3 at home. Brooklyn College lost to St. Joseph’s College – Brooklyn, 81-79, this season a team the Dolphins easily took care of, 67-43.
