Players to Watch (CSI): After 10 matches this season, CSI is being led by the Singles play of Alex Tsui, who takes a 9-1 Singles record and a nine-match winning streak into this one.  Tsui is 6-0 in the No. 4 spot this season as well.  Both Lesly DeCastro and Raymond Hwang are 7-2 in Singles action this season.  Hwang has done most of his damage at the No. 3 position at 5-1, and DeCastro is a combined 6-1 in the Nos. 5-6 slots.  Those two have also paired up in Doubles and are 5-2 as a duo in the No. 3 spot.  CSI as a team in 9-1 in the No. 3 spot.  The duo of Matthew Vesci and Tao Lin are also hot this year, going 9-1 as a team, all at No. 2.
Players to Watch (FSC): No.1 Singles ace Mark Baker has been untouchable this season, going 9-0 all in the top position this season, so he will be looking to keep that streak alive today.  Cooper Everett has also been great, going 7-2 in Singles play, including a perfect 3-0 mark at the No. 3 position.  Daniel Kafka is 6-1 in Singles, including a 3-0 mark at No. 3 and a 3-1 mark at No. 4.  As a team, FSC is 9-1 at the No. 6 spot and a perfect 10-0 at the No. 1 position.  When it comes to Doubles, the team of Mark Baker and Steven Gaudio are 5-0 at the No. 1 spot, and again FSC is 10-0 at No. 1 this season.
News & Notes:  These two teams have been meeting pretty regularly since the 2010 season, with Farmingdale holding a modest 4-3 lead in the series.  CSI won the first two meetings between the sides in 2010 and 2011, but then Farmingdale ripped off four-straight wins from 2012 to 2016.  The two teams didn’t play in 2017, but renewed the rivalry last year at Farmingdale, where the Dolphins prevailed, 7-2.  CSI is 1-2 all-time at home against Farmingdale, but will be looking to score their first win against the Rams on home turf since the 2011 season, a tight, 5-4, win.  Both teams come in with identical 8-2 records this season.  Both teams are 2-2 against common opponents.  Both teams defeated St. Joseph’s (LI) by 9-0 scored and both teams defeated Hunter College.  CSI defeated Hunter 5-4, while FSC defeated Hunter, 8-1.  Both teams lost to Yeshiva University, with FSC falling 5-4 and CSI falling, 8-1.  Both teams also lost to Baruch College.  FSC fell 6-3 to the Bearcats while CSI fell, 5-4.
