Kansas City, MO | The United Soccer Coaches, the world’s largest soccer coaching association has announced their All-Region teams from 2018 and making the list was CSI leading scorer Bryant Navarro earning on to the 3rd-team of the East Region.

Navarro was a force from day one at the College of Staten Island.  After finishing tied for the team lead in goals his freshman year with six markers, Navarro exploded to the tune of 20 goals, the 7th-highest total nationally, adding four assists on 67 total shots.  Navarro also led the Dolphins in shot percentage with .299, and posted four game-winning goals, also highest on the team.

A threat coming off of the bench a majority of time in 2017, Navarro made 17 starts this season in 20 appearances.  He tallied five goals in CSI’s final three games, including an overtime winner in the CUNYAC Semifinals against John Jay College, a 2-1 win, and both goals in CSI’s 2-2 final in the CUNYAC Championship against Baruch.  Navarro finished 9th on the team in minutes played with 1,176.

The only representative from the CUNYAC, Navarro was one of 12 forwards cited on the three All-Region teams.  Each team features a keeper, three defenders, four midfielders and four forwards.  In the coming days, the USC will be announcing their All-America teams and final rankings for the 2018 season as well.
