The College of Staten Island Library (Building 1L) will open as a study hall for extended hours during the Spring 2019 final exam period. Library services, including the Circulation/Reserves Desk and the Reference Desk, will be staffed at our regular hours. Public Safety will close off the third floor of the Library and monitor students on the first and second floor from 10:00pm until midnight, and then all students will be monitored on the first floor during our extended hour, from midnight to 1:00am.
Extended hours will take place during the following dates and times:
Monday, May 13: 7:00am-1:00am
Tuesday, May 14: 7:00am-1:00am
Wednesday, May 15: 7:00am-1:00am
Thursday, May 16: 7:00am-1:00am
Friday, May 17: 7:00am-11:00pm
Saturday, May 18: 9:00am-9:00pm
Sunday, May 19: 9:00am-9:00pm
Monday, May 20: 7:00am-1:00am
Tuesday, May 21: 7:00am-1:00am
Wednesday, May 22: 7:00am-midnight (last day of final exams)
As a reminder, food is not allowed in the Library and drinks must be in a sealed container. We also ask that our patrons keep noise levels to a minimum in order to maintain an environment conducive to study.
