We continue to implement the College’s Strategic Plan Opportunity to Ascend, 2017-2022. An important pillar of this plan is to embark on a “CSI Pride” campaign to develop an esprit de corps and promote campus spirit among students, faculty, and staff. During the strategic planning process, many members of our community noted that, as an institution, we should increase our efforts to bring the campus together, to establish annual traditions (e.g., Homecoming), and to explore opportunities to develop and promote a strong sense of community and pride in CSI.
To that end, the Spirit, Pride, and Tradition Committee is being formed and you are invited to participate. The group will be co-chaired by Jennifer S. Borrero, Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Engagement; Tara Mateik, Associate Professor, Department of Media Culture; Jessica Collura, Director of Employee Relations & Labor Designee; and Melissa Sipione, Student Government Vice President.
Your viewpoints and suggestions are important, so join this group and share your ideas to make this a more enriching community for all.
