The Albany Times Union in Albany, NY, recently featured College of Staten Island Men’s Basketball duo Messiah Mallory and Bryce Waterman in its recent sport capsule recognizing standouts on the field and on the court.
Mallory, a freshman, and Waterman, a sophomore, are CSI’s one-two punch in scoring this season. Mallory is also one of the East Coast Conference’s top rebounders and shot-blockers, while Waterman, a three-point specialist, is among conference leaders in three-point buckets. Both players hail from upstate, with Mallory coming to CSI by way of Watervliet High School and Waterman coming from Colonie High School before spending a year at Purdue Fort Wayne.
