Have you heard about Open Educational Resources (OER), but don’t quite have a full grasp on what these materials are and how you can use them in your pedagogy to support student success? Are you familiar with OER, but would like a concise introduction and guidance on preferred methods in OER use? If so, consider applying to participate in the second run of the Library’s OER Crash Course for Faculty, which will be running this April.

Apply for this four-week, online, asynchronous, and self-led course on OER. Participants in the course will receive a $1,000 stipend from the CUNY OER Grant upon successful completion of the course by Sunday, May 1.

To be considered for this opportunity, please fill out the online form no later than Friday, Mar. 18.

Applicants who were not able to participate in the first run of this course, last spring, may reapply this year. If you have previously received funding from the OER Grant, you are not eligible for this course.

For more information, please view the online flyer or contact Prof. Christina Boyle, Emerging Technologies Librarian and OER Coordinator, at christina.boyle@csi.cuny.edu
