The CSI Library (Building 1L) is pleased to invite you to a virtual facilitated discussion on the implications of book bans and the dangers of censorship in both academic and public libraries on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm via Zoom. We will also have selected readings of banned books, and welcome members of the campus community to contact us if they wish to participate. In addition to co-sponsorship from the departments of Educational Studies and Curriculum & Instruction, Professor Emily Drabinski (The Graduate Center, CUNY), incoming President of the American Library Association, will join the discussion.
This is an online CC CLUE event.
