On Saturday, December 3, the College of Staten Island held its 11th Celestial Ball at the Richmond County Country Club on Staten Island, and its first since 2019. The evening featured a cocktail hour and full course dinner, and honored were President Emeritus Dr. William Fritz and Dr. Bonnie Fritz, Assemblyman Michael Cusick, Maxwell Velikodny ’22 on behalf of the CSI student body, and Patricia Kahn, PhD, on behalf of the CSI workforce. The themse was appropriately titled, “Heroes Among Us,” to honor those who w, held a Portrait Unveiling for Dr. William J. Fritz on his return to the campus, followed by a Bench Dedication for the Fritzes and for Dr. Michael Nakao and Katherine McDonnell.
