This week, the Staten Island Advance featured the CSI Baseball team’s Hometown Heroes Game Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday April 8. The game will raise proceeds to benefit the families of late-firefighters Steve Sosa and Anthony Iraco, and late-police officer Anthony Varvaro. The story, written by the Advance’s Joseph D’Amodio chronicles how the three heroes had a personal connection to the program through CSI Head Coach Michael Mauro. See the full story on the Staten Island Advance Website.
