In recognition of the importance of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, the Office of Student Life is proud to present a three-part workshop series exploring these dimensions of diversity. We have asked experts from across our campus community to facilitate these workshops in a safe environment for our students to explore these important topics.

Race and Racism (CC CLUE)

Thursday, March 23

2:30pm – 4:00pm

1C-211

Race and the harmful effects of racism are common topics of conversation for many here in our campus community. When we stay ignorant and silent, we send the message that racism doesn’t matter or that it’s someone else’s problem. To help put an end to racism, everyone has to take an active role, no matter who they are. In this workshop, we will talk about the importance of understanding these concepts and show how a deep understanding of both is required for leadership in a 21st century to help lead and transform America and our world.

Facilitated by Robert King Kee, Office of Student Life
