You are cordially invited to “Photography, Advocacy, and Consent: Revisiting the Willowbrook Exposés,” a virtual Webinar panel discussion of issues raised by PCA art historian and curator Siona Wilson’s exhibition Eric Aerts: Photography Inside the Cages, currently on display at the Gallery of the College of Staten Island/CUNY. This event is part of the 2022 Year of Willowbrook, a project of the Willowbrook Legacy Committee at CSI/CUNY and will take place on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 3:00pm to 4:30pm via Zoom.
The panel will include:
-Hosu Kim, Sociology/Anthropology; Catherine Lavender, History and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies; and Chris Verene, Performing and Creative Arts in conversation with Siona Wilson.
