Welcome back from Spring Break. With less than two weeks left in the semester, CSI IM and REC has you covered to help relieve some final exam stress.
Upcoming Special Events: Our Students vs. Faculty/Staff Softball Game is coming up next week on Thursday, May 9 starting at 5:00pm on the Softball Field. There will be free food and game t-shirts for the first 15 participants on each side. Be sure to register online.
Open Rec Sports continue. With the addition of Open REC Badminton, the final day for OR Badminton is Monday, May 6 in Sports and Recreation Center’s (Building 1R) Auxiliary Gym at 2:00pm.
Upcoming Sports Tournaments: This week, there are two tournaments, first our rescheduled 5v5 Flag Football Tournament will now be held this Thursday, May 2, starting at 2:30pm on the Multiuse Turf Field. In addition, our 2v2 Badminton Tournament will be held on Friday, May 3 starting at 3:00pm in the Auxiliary Gym (1R).
Pre-registration is preferred for all of our Spring 2024 sports tournaments, go online to view dates and to start registering yourself, or a team. (Note: All teams members must be current CSI students or staff.)
Lastly, IM and REC currently offers the following competing Sports Clubs: Cheerleading/Stunt, Women’s Bowling, Women’s Flag Football, and Esports. For more information, please email salvatore.caruso@csi.cuny.edu.
