On Thursday, October 10, College of Staten Island President Dr. Timothy G. Lynch and several others were able to celebrate CSI President Emeritus Dr. William J. Fritz on the launch of his new books at The Graduate Center. Dr. Fritz’s Frontier Series features Stories of the Yaak, Frontiers of the Soul, and Ancestral Kitchen.
Dr. Lynch provided welcoming remarks, followed by greetings from CUNY Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez and remarks made by CSI Professor of Creative Nonfiction and Journalism Ava Chin, Retired Clerk of Court for the U.S. Southern District of New York Kathleen Farrell Willoughby, and NYC Department of Education Principal Evelyn Flynn.
Dr. Fritz then offered words to the audience, a reading from his series, and a question and answer segmeng.
