Meet GIS Day 2024 speaker Genia Naro-Maciel:
Dr. Genia Naro-Maciel is a Clinical Professor and Founding Chair of the Sustainability, Health, and the Environment Concentration in Global Liberal Studies at New York University. A committed practitioner of evidence-based teaching, Genia has co-authored numerous open educational resources and peer-reviewed publications on protected areas, environmental justice, and biodiversity conservation.
