CUNY’s College of Staten Island and The Graduate Center is proud to annouce the 18th Annual GIS Day, set for Wednesday, November 20, between 12-4pm. All are invited to join us as we discover the transformative power of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology taking place simultaneously at both the CSI Library’s Room 220A and at The Graduate Center’s Segal Theater (365 4th Avenue, New York, NY).
GIS Day features speakers from Con Edison, Rutgers University, New York University, New Jersey Community College, Louisiana State University, and faculty and staff from the College of Staten Island, who will showcase real-world GIS applications in energy management and environmental research to enhance resilience and sustainability efforts.
In-person and remote registrants will get to participate in interactive sessions, network with professionals and peers, and explore diverse GIS projects from students and faculty from CSI.
