On Tuesday afternoon, the College of Staten Island celebrated its White Coat Ceremony for the Department of Physical Therapy. The ceremony marks our students’ transition from preclinical study to clinical health sciences.
Introductory greetings were delivered by Dr. Zaghloul Ahmed, Chairperson of the Physical Therapy Department, along with Dr. Amanda Rotondo, Director of Clinical Education. Dr. Rotondo then recognized the 20 students before closing remarks were conducted by Dr. Michael Chiacchiero.
The 20 doctoral students transitioning from preclinical to clinical health sciences are: Merylyn Acosta, Anna Baylosis, Michael Brancato, Edwin Cung, Julian Di Turi, Kayla Dunn, Mina Ghattas, Areej Hassan, Eric Lam, Gordon Lam, Arbonor Lleshi, Rebecca Macdonald, Marlon Morales, Chase Morrissey, KaWah Ng, Olivia Norato, PaulPimentel, Christopher Spurrell, Glory Udechi, and Sarah Velez.
