I’m pleased to announce that CSI has a new Finance Controller, Ms. Lena Kirzhner. Prior to joining CSI, Lena held several Financial Controller positions with responsibility for the financial transactions of multi-million-dollar corporations. With more than ten years of accounting experience, Lena’s expertise will complement that of her peers in the Business Office and allow her to serve the campus community well. Reporting to the AVP for Finance and Budget/CFO, her duties will include, but will not be limited to, the day-to-day management and oversight for the College Accounting Office, provide guidance on all University accounting policies and procedures for all Tax levy and Non-Tax levy operations, attend and serve as CSI’s campus representative with CUNY’s Office of the University Controller, and serve as CSI’s audit liaison for the College’s year-end independent audit process.
