We have been made aware that CUNY has experienced a cybersecurity incident. The University is conducting an investigation, and at this time, there is no indication of impact to any of the CUNY systems. Updates will be provided as needed.
Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that all students, faculty, and staff change their CUNYID passwords as soon as possible. To do so, please follow the instructions found online.
To ensure the safety and security of all CSI and CUNY online systems and offerings, we ask that you complete the Cybersecurity Awareness Training no later than Friday, May 30. Faculty and staff can complete the training by logging into Blackboard using your updated CUNY credentials. Your assigned compliance courses are in the Organizations tab on the sidebar.
Students can complete the training by logging into Brightspace. Cybersecurity training will be listed on your personal homepage under “My Courses.” If you need assistance accessing either a Blackboard or Brightspace account, please contact the Technology HelpDesk at 718.982.HELP (4357).
