The College of Staten Island women’s cross country team saw a 9th place finish while the men captured an 8th place finish in the CSI Invitational held at Clove Lake Park.
On the women’s side, Baruch took first place with 62 points while on the men’s side Queensborough CC captured first with 92 points.
CSI’s Joanna Villegas touched in at 24:14.83 for a 24th place finish followed right behind by Victoria Barry in 26th place with a time of 24:22.34.
Jackie Jamaladdine ran in at 25:48.99 for a 47th place finish while Ayat Odeh and Kubra Shirazi closed it out for the Dolphins with an 89th and 94th finish, respectively.
Andrew Pate and Samuel Obsianya led for the Dolphins on the men’s side. Pate captured bronze with a time of 17:38.59 closely followed by Obsianya in 5th place at 17:38.55.
Richard Ruggiero ran in at 20:21.55 for 47th place while Michael Wallace saw the 52nd spot with a time of 20:54.42. Chris Gonzalez finished in scoring position for the Dolphins with a time of 22:07.19.
