Greg Phillips received his Ph.D. from The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA. He was a postdoctoral fellow and junior faculty member at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has extensive experience in cell biology and electron microscopy and has taught courses in cellular neurobiology at Mount Sinai and Adelphi University. Dr. Phillips was the recipient of a National Research Service Award, an Irma T. Hirschl Award, the Lamport Research Award and 2 NIH research grants. His research interests are focused on the development of chemical synapses in the central nervous system.
