The College of Staten Island baseball team returns to their home diamond tonight where they will take on the Dolphins of Mt. St. Vincent in a doubleheader starting at 5:00 pm at the CSI Baseball Complex in Staten Island, NY.  Staten Island is coming off of a tough loss to William Paterson yesterday afternoon and will want to return to their winning ways tonight against the visiting Dolphins.

Players to Watch (CSI): George Kantzian continues to be a double hitting machine and now has 13 through 13 games played.  Kantzian is also second on the team with 11 RBIs and leads the team in slugging percentage with .681.  Joe Palmeri continues to drive in runs for his team and leads the Dolphins with 17 RBIs after collecting three in yesterday’s high scoring affair against William Paterson University. 
Players to Watch (CMSV):  For the visiting Dolphins it will be Matthew Nesesohn leading the way as he leads the team with 11 hits through 9 games for a .324 batting average. Keith Schroeher reaches base 55% of the time which is more than any Dolphin and also has two stolen bases so far this year.
News and Notes:  Mt. St. Vincent will come into tonight’s doubleheader on a four game losing streak as they return from the Russmatt Central Florida Invitational where they played a total of six games, picking up only one win. Mt. St. Vincent is hitting .233 as a squad while allowing their opponents to hit .339.  Staten Island is hitting just shy of .300 at .294 and has hit .320 or better in five of their last six games.  Through 17 games played this year the Dolphins have committed 29 errors while the visiting Dolphins have committed 21 through 9 games.
