The Faculty Institute for Student Success will have its second meeting on Thursday, Mar. 16 from 12:15pm to 2:00pm in the Faculty Center in the Library (Building 1L, Room 203). The theme for this meeting is Learning to Learn. All faculty (both part-time and full-time) members and staff members are invited to attend. The Institute has ten adjunct faculty fellows, who will participate in all three of the sessions planned for this semester. The Institute is sponsored by the Student Success Task Force, the Provost’s Office, and the Faculty Center for Professional Development. The session will feature presentations by task force members about practical ways to teach our students how to learn and be successful in their CSI courses and at the College. We will focus on reading, listening, note-taking, and participating in campus life. (Please note: While lunch will not be served, participants are welcome to bring their own lunches.)
