The College of Staten Island Office of Student Life – LGBTQ Resource Center/Pluralism & Diversity and Pride Center of Staten Island are partnering with New York State to bring the LGBTQ KNOW YOUR RIGHTS Tour to Staten Island on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
Events will be held on the CSI Willowbrook campus in the Campus Center (Building 1C), Room 227 from noon to 1:30pm, and at the CSI St. George location at 120 Stuyvesant Pl 1st floor, Staten Island, NY 10301, Room 112, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Join us at the NYS LGBTQ Know Your Rights session with a speaker from our state government presenting information about current protections for the LGBTQ Community under New York State’s Human Rights Law, Dignity for All Students Act (DASA), and other NYS regulations.
In the session, you will also learn about which resources are available when those rights are violated. Both sessions will be identical.
