There is still time to register for “Best Practices for Converting Your Face-to-Face Course to an Online or Hybrid Course” on Tuesday, Apr. 30 in the Library Faculty Center (Building 1L, Room 203 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
This presentation will introduce a variety of approaches for shifting face-to-face teaching to an online or hybrid teaching and learning environment. This introductory presentation will assist you in getting started on mapping out a successful course.
We will explore:
-Tips and resources for structuring your online or hybrid course;
-Methods to foster online community, collaboration, and interaction;
-Strategies and tools to facilitate online instructional strategies and assessment; and
-Available CSI resources that facilitate online teaching and learning.
