Human Resources will be hosting two on-campus Professional Development seminars through CUNY’s Work/Life Program – CCA@YourService. These seminars are designed to support both managers and staff in their professional growth and well-being.
Managers: Creating the Secret Sauce – Building the Perfect Team- Tuesday, June 3, noon to 1:00pm in Building 1A , Room 308.

- HOW TO CREATE THE SECRET SAUCE: THE PERFECT TEAM: This seminar addresses the elements that go into creating a high-functioning team. This seminar is an interactive discussion and provides a glimpse into the way a team needs to work in today’s fast-paced environment. It encourages individuals to think about what they do that adds to the team, as well as what they want to work on to add to the team.
Staff: Career Development Strategies- Thursday, June 5, noon to 1:00pm in Building 1A, Room 308.

- CAREER DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES: This interactive seminar helps participants build an effective career development plan by taking a strategic look at self-awareness, career options, and current job skills. Participants will explore their true passions, learn how to incorporate those passions into their individual career action plan, and develop strategies for implementation.
