Acting Director of Diversity and Compliance

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Danielle E. Dimitrov, Esq., to the position of Acting Director of Diversity and Compliance effective Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010. Ms. Dimitrov holds a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and a Master’s degree in Health Education from New York University.

Ms. Dimitrov was most recently in practice as a contract attorney for various law firms in Manhattan handling legal matters in the areas of employment discrimination and securities litigation.

Previously, Ms. Dimitrov worked in the legal services department for the Gay Men’s Health Crisis, the Baldy Center for Law and Social Policy, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Ms. Dimitrov also worked as a Research Aide for the College of Staten Island Center for Environmental Science providing support for research conducted by the Staten Island Breast Cancer Research Initiative and was an adjunct faculty member at CUNY LaGuardia Community College.
