Members of the Omni Piano Quartet, Spectrum Concerts Berlin, will present a free concert, featuring the music of Richard Strauss and Johannes Brahms, on December 3.

Members of the Omni Piano Quartet, Spectrum Concerts Berlin, will perform the music of Richard Strauss and Johannes Brahms on Monday, December 3 in the College of Staten Island’s Center for the Arts Springer Concert Hall at 7:30pm. This free concert is made possible through the generosity of the estate of Dr. Michael Shugrue.

The performers include Ronald Carbone, viola; David Cerutti, viola; Elmira Darvarova, violin; Frank Dodge, cello; David Heiss, cello; and Suzanne Ornstein, violin, and the program will feature Strauss’s String Sextet from Capriccio (1942) and Brahms’s String Sextet in B-Flat Major, Op. 18.

Audience members will also have an opportunity to meet the performers at a post-concert reception.

Cellist Frank Dodge founded Spectrum Concerts Berlin in 1988. Critics and audiences have ranked it as the leading and most vital chamber music series in Germany’s capital city.
