Chu-Ping C. Vijverberg (Associate Professor) earned her Ph.D. in Economics from University of Pittsburgh and Ph.D. in Statistics from Southern Methodist University. Before joining CSI, she taught at University of Texas-Dallas and Wichita State University. Her research interests are in empirical macroeconomics, time series modeling, production functions and productivity analysis, and income distributions. Currently, she is working on business cycle synchronization issues related to the Euro zone and the classical gold standard regimes.
