Valerie Forrestal (Assistant Professor) holds a bachelors in Mass Communications from the University of Maine, and a Master of Arts from Emerson College, both focusing on marketing, new media, and audio/video production. She earned her MLIS from Rutgers University, where her concentration was digital and multimedia archives, and recently completed a Master of Science in Service-Oriented Computing from Stevens Institute of Technology. Valerie specializes in UX-based web design and development, social media, educational technology, and requirements and software engineering for libraries.
