The Friends of the College of Staten Island are hosting “It’s Our Party-An Evening with Lesley Gore,” the famed 1960s pop singer. The evening festivities include a post-performance champagne and wine reception with Ms. Gore at the College of Staten Island Center for the Arts.
Beginning at 8:00pm, in the Williamson Theatre, Lesley Gore will perform many of her past great hits from the 1960s along with contemporary songs from her new CD. Guests will be treated to a “sweet and savory” private reception in the Center for the Arts West Lounge with Ms. Gore following her performance.
Anne Mondello and William Roane are chairing the event. Proceeds will benefit the Friends of CSI fund for student scholarships and other needs of the College. The Friends of CSI is a volunteer organization comprised of members of the community dedicated to the mission of the College and devising programs that will involve the community in educational and cultural activities of CSI.
