The Music Program of the Department of Performing and Creative Arts presents a Music Hour concert featuring the OMNI Ensemble on Thursday, Oct. 20 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) Recital Hall at 1:30pm.
The OMNI Ensemble will begin its 29th season with a program featuring Arnold Schoenberg’s Kammersymphonie, op. 9, arranged by Anton Webern; George Crumb’s “Eleven Echoes of Autumn”; Joseph Haydn’s first London Trio; David Keberle’s “Percorsi d’anima;” and James Johnston’s “Fuzzy Math.” Guest artists Masha Lankovsky, violin, and David Keberle, clarinet, will join OMNI Ensemble director David Wechsler, flute, and members Brian Snow, cello, and James Johnston, piano. Professors Keberle and Wechsler are on the faculty of the College of Staten Island.
